Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account or accessing any part of the Pondo PH platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register or use the Pondo PH service.

Description of Service

Pondo PH is a personal budgeting web application that allows registered users to:

• Record and track monthly income and salary information.
• Create budget categories and allocate funds across categories.
• Log and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly expenses.
• Set and track savings goals and emergency funds.
• View financial summaries, reports, and budget health scores.
• Access an AI-powered budget assistant for general financial guidance.

Pondo PH is a personal finance tool only. It is not a bank, financial institution, investment advisor, or licensed financial service provider. Nothing on this platform constitutes professional financial advice.

Eligibility

To use Pondo PH, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must provide accurate and truthful registration information.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• Your use of the service must not violate any applicable laws in your country of residence.

By registering, you confirm that you meet all of the above requirements. If we discover that you do not meet these requirements, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account.

Account Registration

When you register for Pondo PH, you agree to the following:

• You will provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
• You will verify your email address using the link sent to your registered email.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You will notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• You will not share your account credentials with any other person.
• Each person may maintain only one account — creating multiple accounts is not permitted.

We reserve the right to refuse registration or suspend accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Pondo PH only for its intended purpose of personal budget management. You must not:

• Use the platform for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the system, other user accounts, or our servers.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any software that could damage the platform.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform without written permission.
• Impersonate any person, company, or entity.
• Interfere with the normal operation of the platform or other users' access to the service.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the platform.
• Use the service on behalf of others for commercial resale or redistribution without written agreement.

Your Financial Data

All financial data you enter into Pondo PH — including salary records, expense entries, budget categories, and savings goals — belongs to you.

• You grant Pondo PH a limited license to store, process, and display your financial data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
• We do not claim ownership of your financial data.
• You may export or delete your data at any time.
• Upon account deletion, your financial data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. Pondo PH is not liable for decisions made based on incorrect data you have entered into the platform.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Pondo PH platform — including but not limited to the website design, interface, graphics, logos, text, code, and AI responses — is the intellectual property of Pondo PH and is protected by applicable copyright laws.

• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform content without prior written permission.
• The Pondo PH name, logo, and brand identity may not be used without written authorization.
• User-generated content (your budget data, notes, and entries) remains your own intellectual property.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Pondo PH is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the service.
• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• The AI Budget Assistant provides general guidance only — we make no warranties as to the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated responses for your specific financial situation.
• We are not responsible for any loss of data due to technical failure, though we make reasonable efforts to maintain data integrity.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, Pondo PH and its creators, officers, and employees shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
• Financial losses resulting from decisions made based on information displayed in the platform.
• Data loss resulting from unauthorized access, technical failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• Any interruption or unavailability of the service.

In any case, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of Pondo PH shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Account Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon closure, your personal and financial data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms of Use.
• We detect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity associated with your account.
• You provide false registration information.
• Continued provision of the service to you is not technically or commercially feasible.

If your account is terminated due to a violation, you may lose access to all data associated with your account. We are not obligated to provide a copy of your data in cases of termination due to misconduct.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Pondo PH shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the appropriate courts of the Philippines.

Users located outside the Philippines acknowledge that their use of the service is subject to Philippine law.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. When we make significant changes, we will:

• Send a notification email to your registered email address at least 7 days before changes take effect.
• Display a notice inside the Pondo PH dashboard.
• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Pondo PH after changes are posted and the notice period has passed constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the new terms, you may close your account before the changes take effect.
