- Financial Data — salary records, expense entries, budget categories, allocations, and savings goals that you create inside the app. This data is yours and is only visible to you.
- Usage Data — information about how you use the platform, including pages visited, features used, and session duration, to help us improve the service.
- Device Information — browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers for security and session management purposes.
- Communications — messages you send to our support team through the support ticket system.

How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account and provide access to the Pondo PH platform.
- To display your financial data — budget, expenses, allocations, savings — within your personal dashboard.
- To send verification emails and important account notifications.

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement the following security measures to protect your information:
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt encryption — we never store plain text passwords.
- All sessions are protected with secure session tokens and IP logging.
- Admin access to the system requires authenticated login and all admin actions are logged with timestamps and IP addresses.
- Database access is restricted to authorized system components only.
- Email verification is required before account activation.
🔒 Admin access to your financial data
Our support and admin team can view your account status, email address, and registration information for support purposes. However, your personal financial records — salary, expenses, budgets, and savings goals — are never accessible to any admin user.

Financial Data Protection
Pondo PH handles your financial data with the highest level of care and confidentiality:
- Your budget entries, salary records, and expense data are associated with your account only and are not shared with any other user or third party.
- No admin, support agent, or employee can view the actual contents of your financial records.
- Financial data is used exclusively to generate your personal dashboard and reports within your account.
- We do not sell, license, or trade your financial information to any external party.
- If you delete your account, your financial data will be permanently removed from our systems.

Only you can see your budget, expenses, and savings data. We act only as the platform that stores and displays it securely for your use.

Cookies and Tracking
Pondo PH uses minimal cookies to provide core functionality:
- Session Cookies — used to keep you logged in during your visit. These expire when you close your browser or log out.
- Security Cookies — used to prevent cross-site request forgery and protect your account.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics services that profile your behavior across websites. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking tools.

Sharing of Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone. We may share limited information only in the following specific circumstances:
- Service Providers — email delivery services used to send verification and notification emails. These providers process your email address only and do not have access to your financial data.
- Legal Requirements — if required by Philippine law, court order, or government authority, we may disclose account information. We will notify you when legally permitted to do so.
- Safety — if we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm, fraud, or illegal activity.
In all cases, we share only the minimum information necessary and require any third party to maintain confidentiality.

Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the service.
- If you close your account, your personal and financial data will be deleted within 30 days.
- Support ticket records may be retained for up to 12 months for quality and compliance purposes before being permanently deleted.
- System security logs (IP addresses, login timestamps) are retained for up to 90 days.
- Inactive accounts (no login for 12 months) may be subject to data deletion after prior email notification.

Children's Privacy
Pondo PH is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered on our platform, please contact us immediately and we will delete the account.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by:
- Sending an email notification to your registered email address.
- Displaying a notice inside the Pondo PH dashboard.
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of Pondo PH after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you may close your account at any time.
